The city’s premiere fitness facility located on Wyse Road is just 1.4 km from King’s Wharf. This landmark facility offers a wide variety of services such as a health and fitness centre, squash courts, running tracks, swimming pools, skating lessons in addition dance lessons and a host of children’s programs and seasonal workshops. With spectacular views of the canal, this trail is connected to local sightseeings and provides opportunities for plenty of winter activities such as cross-country skiing. So far, 17 km of trail that is parallel to Canal has been completed from Metro Halifax to Wellington-Fall River.
